Who am I?
Hey! My name is Jen and I'm a wife and mother of three. I started my personal sourdough journey in June 2024 by making my own starters and fell in love with baking as well as all the health benefits that sourdough offers. I left my corporate job in August 2025 to officially start Little Sour Bakes and bring joy in the form of deliciousness to other families.
Am I licensed and Inspected?
That's right! I'm a legitimate home bakery (called a limited food establishment in the commonwealth). I am licensed and inspected through my township and the state of PA to own and operate my microbakery from home.
Do I use preservatives or additives?
I do not! After my health diagnosis of diabetes, I try to cook and eat food that is healthful. I use the best ingredients that I can get my hands on, from the grass fed butter down to the chocolate chips I put in my chocolate chip cookie.
Do my starters have names?
They certainly do! I have two sourdough starters named Frodough and Samrise. One does not simply…name their starters after two of the most beloved hobbits…
How big are the cookies and brownies?
All cookies and brownies are 4oz in weight before baked. They are pretty big bakes!
How does delivery work?
I deliver (entire menu available for delivery) to locals (within 25-30 miles of Chalfont, PA 18914) on Thursday mornings. Free delivery for orders over $20.
Cookies can be shipped??
Yes, cookies can be shipped across the USA. Both locals and non-locals can place shipping orders for cookies. Cookies ship free for orders over $75.
How to order: Locals
You can place an order through the website (please provide address, email and phone) by Monday evening and I will contact you to determine a delivery location/time for Thursday morning of the same week.

You can place your cookie shipping order through the website (please provide address, email and phone) and I will contact you for an expected delivery date.
Is Little Sour Bakes part of a Farmer’s Market?
Yes! I have been invited as a sourdough vendor to the Cedar Hollow Farms Farmer's Market in Pennsburg. Please check my farmer's market page for more info!
